One thing this game sorely needs is specialty classes. Every basic wizard school should be able to branch into a specialized field after attaining a certain level requirement. Here is an example using the necromancer<Death Wizard>:
Upon achieving level 50,the necro has a decision to make. They can either continue as unspecialized,or delve into one of 3 different specializations for the Death Wizard class: 1) Lich- a death wizard who is adept at using death/life drain type magics, and these spells have increased damage output compared to the other death wizards. 2) Grave Lord- A death wizard who is adept at summoning undead/infernal minions to assist him in his battles, and can charm undead monsters in battle to assist him. 3)Warlock- A death wizard who can cast poisons, hexes, and curses, etc. at increased damage for debilitating effects on opponents.
This is just a quick example of how the specialized classes would work, and could be implemented for every wizard school. It would add some much needed diversity to the existing schools, and would make for more fun. And while the star, sun, and moon schools add a little of this already, a specialty class would add much more flavor.
uh no thanks. We grow and get better and stronger spells, gear, etc. This isn't necessary and would take an enormous amount of programming and server space.
I agree with the specialty classes. This game is too monopolized. Nothing ever surprises me anymore. And as for the "perfect secondary school". Um, I usually go death up to feint, then ice up to tower shield OR life up to satyr. Then I get the elemental traps/blades from the balance tree; then I usually save up for the spell Vengence (Spelling?) it gives you more crit possibility; and then I work on getting the buff spell Gargantuan. Boom, perfect set up right there.
