Is KI going to fix it like the link card, attachs on first round?
Probably not; I personally like the way it is.

it's easier to place enough traps on a boss without it hitting on initial draw. If it were to hit when it's first used, it would have a really small first attack which waste a lot traps.
Though it would be nice if it would break shields with its fire breath, that would probably be a little cheap.
