I would like a couple of adjustments for the menu chat. First (and foremost) I would like an option to say I'm having technical problems so that it doesn't seem like I'm just being weird when a friend and I are trying to team up. It's easy to tell those I can text chat with, but the menu chat players are just left waiting.
I would also like quick access to a "hi" during battles for menu chat people joining in, and a (nonbattle) "be right back" quick access so if I need to get up for a second I can tell them before they've wondered off and without having to take extra time myself to find it.
I also run into people sending messages to me while I'm grouped and I have no way to respond (because only my group shows up under friends while grouped) - maybe some way of letting them know I'm not just ignoring them if I'm busy with a group?
