Trading/Gift idea

Ok, so I read a recent post that said that trading (beyond treasure cards) was not going to come to Wizard, and I'm a little disappointed in that and wanted to post an idea on trading/gifting and a reason why I think limited trading (or more detailed gifting) should come to Wizard. I know you can gift items in the crowns shop, but I think this should be expanded.

I play with some younger family members and with the new crafting items (and the insane amount of things you need to gather to make them) and several no auction items, it would be nice if we could trade/gift other items.

If KI is worried about abuse, why not limit it to one trade/non-crown gift item per account per day. You could require that a person has to buy a trading/gifting station (like an equipment station, and you can even say that the recipient has to buy one too). Then you can leave an item at the station for a person (like a gift). You can only do this once every 24 hours or so.

That way I could trade/gift with younger family members and it wouldn't really change much.

We appreciate your ideas, however, for many, many reasons this will not be implemented. Among other concerns, the security of our younger players is paramount to us. One trip through the Shopping District of a full Realm should make the some of the other reasons very clear.

The only thing that can be traded between players on different accounts are Treasure Cards. Items cannot be traded and this is not a feature that will come to Wizard101.

The Shared Banks is there to allow you to trade items between characters on the same account login. If your Death Wizard receives a great hat for an Ice Wizard, you can place it in your Shared Bank and log in as your Ice Wizard to access the new hat.

The Bazaar in Olde Town allows you to sell items that other Wizards can purchase. The prices are set by the shopkeeper based on supply and demand of the items in his inventory.

Gifting allows you to purchase an item for Crowns and Gift it to a Friend at time of purchase.

If you want the prize, you have to build the ladder rung by rung. There are no shortcuts.
