all schools, just if you want plain attack- fire myth storm, maybe death Defense- Life and ice, sometimes balance Prep and little shielding against - balance and the only pets that are quest given are 48 school quest and saving Penny Dreaful other pets are rare drops from bosses or bought

All schools are great, if you want power choose storm but watch your health its lower then other schools. Fire would also be a great attack school. Death is great because you deal good damage but also you get healed for it. Ice would be good for defence but it doesnt have good attack power but also ice gets stronger the more you level up. Life is more of a school that helps other wizards in combat but also has some good attack spells. The level 48 spells and Pennys quest are only free pets :)
