A few ideas

I would like it if there was a Challenge option, probably in the Friend menu. If you click, Challenge, a message pops up on the other player's screen inviting them to a PVP match. They can, of course, decline. If someone kept bugging you about it, the Ignore button is right there.

I think the Messages option should be grayed out if your character's shopping. I've missed a lot of requests for help because I was shopping and the other players thought that I was ignoring them. Or an "Unable to Chat right now" busy signal message could pop up. Something like that.

I'd also be interested in knowing what Reporting someone actually does. My wife was inappropriately hassled by a male player who wouldn't leave her alone until she threatened to report him. Afterwards, he threatened to report her if she didn't join his Group. I have no idea if he followed up on his threat, but I really don't think my wife should get in trouble for that situation, do you?

She didn't know about the Ignore button. She does now. :D

Any thoughts?

When you report someone, or you are reported, a message is sent directly to Mr Lincoln that includes the chat logs of everything that was said before and after that report.

Mr Lincoln then reads the log and assess the situation. He determines how bad the offense was, looks up prior offenses for the reported individual, and based on that assessment he issues sanctions such as muting or banning and sends an email to the offending account explaining the violation and the sanctions.

If the report was falsely made, that is determined as well, and the player who made the false report is investigated as to whether or not they have made previous false reports. False reports are just a egregious as valid ones, and similar sanctions can be levied against repeat offenders of false reporting.

Everything that a player enters into the chat window is logged. These larger chat logs are also routinely checked for those infractions that are not reported.

Outstanding.

I couldn't have asked for a better procedure. Everyone plays this game to have a good time and it is very comforting to know that Kings Isle has taken such a interest in maintaining a fun and enjoyable experience for their customers.

As to my other ideas, people who are competitive enough to Offer and Accept challenges might like a scorecard of some type. Personally, I don't PVP very much but, if I did, I'd like to know how many battles I'd won or lost. If someone brings up a Friend's profile, they'd be able to see that score card. Which might assist them in the decision to offer a Challenge in the first place!

Challenges might not even have to take place in the PVP arena. A quick Street Battle combat ring would do nicely, allow an audience and give the PVP que a break.
