In addition to Ant Lion, Summon Pixie will get rid of any level pest if you don't have access to the Khrysalis gardener yet.

Yes, a pixie will protect the plants from bad pests as long as it's there. For a summoned pixie, that's 48 hours.

Yes, pixie does both. It removes any pest and prevents all pests on that plant for 48 hours.
