Since yesterday, KingsIsle has been mitigating severe DDOS attacks against our games Wizard101 and Pirate101. This means your game play will be impacted until we can resolve the issue. Many will be unable to log in.

We have always taken care of our community when trouble arrives, and we will be sure to do so again once the issue has been fully resolved.

We appreciate the kind messages of encouragement we have received and thank you for playing our games.

As an update, we continue to work on countering the recent DDOS attacks. Unfortunately players overseas or on slower Internet connections may still be affected while the attacks continue.

Our Tech Wizards have continued to work throughout the holiday weekend to address the DDOS attacks, which are ongoing and happen sporadically both day and night. Please know we are committed to restoring quality service as quickly as possible.

Thank you again for your kind messages of support. We value our community and assure you that we will strive to make things right once we are confident the attacks are managed and have subsided.

The holiday weekend is over, and we are continuing to address DDOS attacks. Thank you for your patience during these past few days. We are working on new solutions to this problem and consider restoring access to affected Wizard101 and Pirate101 accounts our top priority.

While our original plan was to remove access to special member benefits and special events today (including double pet experience, double gardening rewards, bonus on daily assignments and daily PvP assignments, double Animus and Monstrology experience, free Training Point buyback, Five B.O.X.E.S. Event, and Lost Pages Event), we are now extending access to these benefits and events beyond September 5th. We know many of you missed out on them, so we will keep the party going!

Again, we have always taken care of our community when trouble arrives, and we will be sure to do so again once the issue has been fully resolved.

Unfortunately a new round of DDOS attacks resurfaced today. We're taking measures to counter the attack and, therefore, many players will still be able to log on and enjoy Wizard101; however, there are still a significant number of players who will be affected.

We continue to work toward a more permanent solution. Thank you for your patience.
