While going through the fantastic voyage and Sinbad and the iron sultan, I noticed twice where shields were completely ignored. In Sinbad during the final battle, the dragon ( I think rank 12) cast a meteor strike and one of my teammates had a fire shield. However, the spell completely ignored the shield, dealt full damage, and didn't remove the shield. Then in fantastic I cast mass fire prism at a group of fire monsters ( I think level 6) and somehow two of them managed to get ice shields on them. When I cast the spell (meteor strike I think), the prism on the first enemy turned it into ice damage, but the shield was not triggered, but on the third enemy, the prism turned it to ice damage and the shield was triggered.
