I'm not sure if its normal but every world i go to the following, Polaris, Arcanum, Mirage and empyrea yield no exp through quests, i'm only level 125..

Side quests don't give EXperience in the upper worlds. They do give gold. If you are doing Story Line and not receiving Experience then you might want to contact Support.
