I am currently trying to complete the visionary crafting quest "Legendary Tomfoolery." I have acquired the quest from Librarian Fitzhume, and proceeded to talk to Ignus Ferric. Afterwards, I proceeded to advance to the crafting anvil in the Arcanum. No recipes show up. The quest arrow is also bugged in which it works for all my quests except this one. I can interact with the crafting anvil, but no recipes have shown up. It is just a blank crafting screen. I have tried restarting the game, loading in a new area, but nothing seems to get it to show up. Any way to fix this?
If I remember right, you just have to look at the forge. Then, go back to Ignus to buy the recipe. He will sell you a recipe for $40,000 gold to make a wand for your particular school.
Once you've crafted the weapon, be sure to keep it because it will become an ingredient in the next crafting quest.
I do remember that this quest is kind of confusing. Here are two different walk-throughs from Wizard101 fan sites that might help clear it up somewhat.
