...Hello fellow wizards. I've made this topic so we can discuss the intriguing topic of the prophect Morganthe recites in the Solar District.
What new worlds do you think they point to?
My idea is that for "the mirror will break" it references a parallel, dark realm called Umbra, (name from various hints).
For the horn will call- maybe it points toward the landform a horn on a mountain, meaning an area in this world called the Horn of.... of The ....Horn will be calling for help.
For I strike from the shadows- a world in which she unleashes an unseen, unexpected war.
For the skies will fall-a world in the sky or part of it in the sky-will be destroyed
Again, what do you think her prophecy points towards?

I think it more points to some way for her to travel into the past and reveals the cause for the Storm Titan's betrayal of the Celestians - Morganthe caused the Sky realm of Celestia to be submerged into the ocean by the Storm Lord... it could also be a way for us to prevent Celestia from sinking.
To me it sounds like the horn is an item that must be used (like the krokonomicon for malistare) to achieve her goal. The mirror may also be an item of sorts but instead of something small like a horn, it sounds like it would be big and therefore stored somewhere in the final world of the new story arch. As for the rest, only time will tell, it sort of sounds like she plans to unleash a great army from beyond the sky (from another realm) onto the spiral.
i doubt its traveling back in time to cause that dramatic of a change perhaps helping someone like we did in dragonspyre
i do believe umbra could be a possible world but then again there are a lot of worlds that have been hinted by various KI staff most notoriously the candy world as hinted by Greyrose
the mirror will break possibly means that a world is invaded by morganthe since she failed to get the astral artifacts from us she probably is furious and sends her wrath against other worlds
the horn shall call it may mean that morganthe invades a world and one of those tornado sirens sound and you can hear it in the distance
from the shadows i strike means she will possibly strike from the shadows behind
and the skys shall fall meaning that the heavens is falling and is being destroyed

The mirror will break.. (The next world has a shield called the mirror that protects from the Shadow Web. Morganthe sends undercover Shadow Weavers and the break the shield. Bye bye shield and the invade. During the invasion Morganthe steals a map that shows her the location of the Horn)
The horn will call... (Morganthe follows the map to a new world. She finds the Horn. She later goes on to a new world and sounds the horn there. The horn summons a giant beast. She uses the horn to command the beast to attack your wizard. Your wizard slays it. But you have unknowingly given morganthe what she want. The beasts heart, the cold heart of hate! With this heart she will dominate the spiral.
I strike from the shadows. ( She tricks Featherville (my new world idea). to start a war with Sycthia (a world idea is saw. Very good btw). Between the war, she betrays Featherville and blows up the cold heart of hate in the center of Featherville.
The skies will fall ( Becuase Featherville is high above all the other worlds in the spiral. it comes crashing down on Wiz City. Without Bartelby all the words fall apart. She then uses her powerful magic to repair the a new spiral wich she rules.)

These are probably hints to the new worlds. If you remember there are going to be 5 new worlds. Cl is the first and Morganthe is trying to tell us the new worlds. Idk we just have to wait and find out.
well now we have a new threat to the spiral well now that mean a ton of new worlds and spells well morganithe must be worse then malistare cause she didnt make a army she got one unlike malistare made death or so on so on minions she got them instead of making them plus making a own world fight itself man thats worse then what malistare did this new threat is worse then the old one look out wizards there is a new bandit in town and her name is morganithe this will be a war thatn no one will forget may all who dare to challenge here have courage and wits to take her down but this will be a worse fight a worse war and the worse part in the book now may more words be writen in the book of time and may the first peace to the spiral be brought now the thin line has been split and the red line of evil and the blue line of good clash together in the war of the wizards finially be the end of the battle for peace thus bringing war to a hult and peace to over come evil because all of the people of wizard city, krokatopia, marlybone, mooshu, dragonspire, and celestia depend on us betrail hatered and war will be possabile challenges for what will come to us may we all stand and fight for what we need for wizard city!
I think the mirror and the horn you have to use TOGETHER to help clear all of the worlds of evil but only two threats stay alive. Morganthe and Malistare. Malistare brings back all of the monsters and Morganthe gives the monsters new spells. Then you have to go to Celestia and defeat Malistare and Morganthe in a new all-out battle. Then after you defeat them their magic powers you and the teachers up enough to imprison Morganthe and Malistare forever. :) :-) :) :D :-D :D
I wanted to bring this forum up to explain what I've discovered. "Umbra" means shadow. I'm sure y'all knew that! Yee haw!!! Anyways she will probably lose power, but then the shadow gives her power???

You're right about the shadow referring to Umbra. I'd bet that striking from the shadows simply refers to the fact that she is based in a shadowy world (Umbra in this case), and is plotting her attempt to conquer the spiral from there. So, when she and her forces cross over to other worlds, they are literally striking at the rest of us from the shadows.
Mirror will break and horn will call undoubtedly refer to things she must accomplish to carry out her plans. The true nature of these things will be revealed in time. If you remember, Mallistaire had a number of things he had to do in order to be able to summon the Titan. Clearly the same is true for Morganthe.
The skies will fall seems pretty clear to me. In olden days, the skies (or heavens) referred to both what we now know to be the sky and to those things in outer space that we can see from Earth. The sky falling must refer to destruction that rains down from above. It could be a massive meteor shower, comet, or anything nasty that seems to rain down from the heavens. Either way, it is this destructive force that Morganthe intends to use to conquer the spiral (the part of it she doesn't destroy in the attempt that is). Oh, and if I remember correctly, the spiral was all one world originally. It was eventually split asunder by some massive event. Maybe Morganthe plans to utilize this same destructive power the same way Mallistaire intended to use the same destructive power that destroyed Dragospyre.

Interesting, but nope. After defeated Malistaire realized the err of his ways, and passed on with his wife Sylvia. I don't think he's bringing back monsters any time soon. (cool idea though)
for sky is falling, i am gonna guess that she is gonna use some horn to summon a great beast that will destroy the mirrior that divides the universe and a diffrent realm, exposinig atlas (for those of you who do not know greek mytholigy very well, atlas is said to hold up the sky, and if he where to die, the sky would collapse on us, crushing the earth). she will then proceed to kill atlas useing the beast from the horn, so that the world will be destroyed and the sky will shatter, reaviling yet another dimension oh the shadow realm. useing the power of the shadows, she will create a new world born from the ruins of the old one, where useing the power of the shadows she will observe the creation of magic ( cause history will repeat itself) and be the master of magic, and RULE THE REALM! and maybe along the way we will learn the meaning of magic and someother dressups like that

See I really like the Atlas idea, but they would never kill him off seeing as its a kids game. Other than that this would be awesome. Maybe she could just imprison Atlas or something.
I think we have to pay attention to EVERYTHING we have gone through to awnser this one, has anybody seen a important mirror lying around anywhere? Maybe the mirror doesn't mean a glass mirror but something that reflects... the ocean! The ocean will break that must mean something is taking over celestia or it is the storm lord all over again and she is destroying them ( throw in your ideas)
Now i have heard of a ship horn it was usually used on ships to signal war or movements (like attack and stop and retreat). then that corresponds with the idea above. hmmmm
I will attack from the shadows... hmmm maybe that means she is acctually attacking through the shadows like she is moving through the shadows so we can't detect her and then she attacks coming from her stealth mode
The sky will fall... riddles and prophecies will always have special meanings in there words, so we must read between the lines. Maybe she's using the marleybonians airships! she will attack with the airships! that must mean a lot of airships if she said the sky was falling
On the Ravenwood News page, they just relesed info about the upcoming world of wintertusk, along with a picture of grandmother raven who is holding a HORN. I think the line about "The Horn Will Call" means Morganthe will be so powerful that not even grandmother raven can stand against her, so she uses her horn to call for help. What do you think?

Hahaha I noticed this too. I think this is almost exactly what will happen.
Hmmmmm..... i really have no clue about what it might mean, but i have a feeling the line, "the horn will call" has something to do with the new world of wintertusk. The picture of the grandmother raven is seen holding a horn like figure in her left hand.... maybe... just maybe...... she will appear in wintertusk...
i think that the mirror means that a portal might open and unleash evil monsters the horn means that theres going to be a battle i strike means there will be a a unseen villen then the skys shall fall means the frost giants that live in the sky will come down to earth
