A big welcome to all our new PlayStation and Xbox Wizards! The console launch of Wizard101 has exceeded even our most magical expectations, the response has been incredible! While this surge of excitement has caused longer queue times, the KingsIsle team is already hard at work expanding server capacity and improving performance to ensure a smooth experience for everyone.
Thank you for your patience and enthusiasm as we continue optimizing for console, and yes, we’re still setting our sights on Nintendo Switch next!

DARKMOOR ON TEST REALM!
You've heard many things about this hauntingly beautiful world on your journey thus far, Wizard. Yet, you've seen very little. It's time to finally step into the fog and experience the darkness yourself.

To access the upcoming content, you’ll need to complete Selenopolis, as it’s part of the main questline. Finishing this area will also earn you the Scion of Vengeance badge, which requires completing all story quests in Selenopolis, including Marketplace of Ideas, Garden of Khonsu, Vivarium, and Tomb of the Forgotten.

Abracadoodle continues with #219! Follow the story of various characters as they learn about the powerful magic at Ravenwood School of Magical Arts.

From dazzling art and thrilling duels to in-depth guides and hilarious clips, Wizards everywhere have been lighting up the Spiral with their talent and enthusiasm.

BOO! It’s time to bring out your spooky side and show off your decorating skills in the 2025 Halloween Decorating Contest! This contest ends tonight, October 31st, 2025 at 11:59PM CT!
Decorate your dorm (Wizard101) or bunkhouse (Pirate101) and submit a single screenshot on social media (or the discord) using the hashtag #KingsIsleHalloween2025 by October 31st, 2025, at 11:59pm CT. Be sure to tag your game and include your character’s name and theme!

We’re celebrating our second year of Professors’ Birthday Contests! Each month, we honor a beloved Professor from the Spiral and can’t wait to see the amazing creations the community comes up with this year.

This month, we’re excited to spotlight Mona, a talented and delightfully silly creator whose Wizard101-inspired projects range from colorful makeup looks, to detailed cosplays, plushies, and even cake sculptures.
Mona’s creative journey began in 2020 with a Diego costume for Halloween. What started as a fun way to try new Makeup and step outside her comfort zone has since grown into a vibrant portfolio of Wizard101 projects!
Mona describes her style as playful and detail-focused, matching colors and nailing accuracy in every project. Over time, her confidence has blossomed, and she now creates Halloween looks every October “just for the funzies.”
From NPCs to spells, Mona finds inspiration all across the Spiral. Many of her standout creations, like the Dalia Falmea doll, Alhazred plushie, and Balestrom cake sculpture came from joining community events and contests with her guild, the Plucky Chickens.
Mona’s process often starts with reference photos from Pinterest or in-game screenshots, followed by careful planning (like replicating Headmaster Ambrose’s Kicks!) While her makeup artistry is polished, she admits she “wings it” with sewing, and we think that adds to the charm!
Mona has collaborated with other creators and loves seeing her projects resonate with fans on Twitter. “It catches me off guard whenever someone mentions that they know or like the projects I do,” she says, “since I forget I’m not just making them for me.”
Her most popular creations are the memes, but the piece closest to her heart is a Death School makeup look inspired by Mortis that turned out even better than she imagined. Now, she’s focused on completing her long-awaited Merle Ambrose cosplay and exploring spell-specific makeup looks, from Firecat to Unicorn.
If Mona could bring one of her creations into the game, she’d choose plushies, like her Gamma doll, or new facepaint options in the Magic Mirror.
