Tricks and Treats!

It’s the spookiest time of year in the Spiral, Halloween! Wizard City is in the spirit with decorations to celebrate all month long.

What’s a Halloween celebration without a costume? Dress up with the new mummy and vampire costumes available in the Crown Shop! Spooky Bob, the traveling salesghoul in the Shopping District has some old favorite costumes for the sale as well.

But watch out, it’s not all treats out there. Some tricks lie around the corner! Visit Jack Hallow in the Ravenwood Commons to take part in limited time holiday quests. Wizards who are level 13 or higher can visit Dworgyn who needs help investigating some mysterious activity with the quest “Something Rotten in Nightside.” And if you’ve already completed these quests in the past, you can complete them again this year for more fun and rewards.

While fishing during the month of October, you might catch some spooky fish that have swum back into the Spiral for the season.

KingsIsle Gamers for Charity

This month Associate Community Manager, Professor Greyrose will be leading a team of fellow KingsIsle employees and fans of KingsIsle games in the Extra Life charity gaming marathon. On Saturday November 7, 2015 gamers from all over the world will band together to play games for 24 hours straight and raise money for their local Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.

About Children’s Miracle Network:

Right now there’s a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital working to save the lives of kids in your community. In fact, 62 children enter a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital for treatment every minute — that's one child every second. Some are battling cancer. Some are suffering from a traumatic injury. Others require constant care because they were born too early, or with a genetic disease. Regardless of why the kids are there, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals always have their doors open.

A Hidden Message

Have you seen the secret message? Professor Falmea mentioned receiving a cryptic postcard in her most recent Producer’s Letter. Each week since the letter was discovered, one of the posters covering the message was removed, until everyone finally got to see the hidden message today. It looks to be a postcard from our Pingouin friends in Polaris! What are they up to and why did they send the Wizards this message?

Keep an eye out as we gather more secret messages throughout the month of October. In the meantime, enjoy the view of this mysterious and magical location.
