Remembrance and Thanks

As is our tradition, we will be offering our players a way to obtain a limited edition commemorative item in recognition of those who have served their country. Watch for details on our Ravenwood News page starting November 9th.

Harvest Hannah and the Harvest Festival will also make an appearance later in the month, and if you haven't heard already, Azteca (which is currently in the Test Realm) is coming very soon to the Live Game!

Keep reading the newsletter for more details!

Azteca

Coming Soon: the new world of Azteca!

This world is currently only on the Test Realm but will be coming to the Live Game this month. Azteca is home to the Aztecosaurs; the oldest race in the Spiral. Long believed to have been lost, this world now lives in peril of being destroyed...

Players who are a minimum of level 80 and who have completed the Avalon quest "A Great Storm Coming" must speak to Cyrus Drake in Ravenwood (not Merle like you usually do). He will send you along to Marleybone for a very unique experience. Completing Cyrus' quest will give you the Spiral Key to Azteca.

How to Draw...

We have a wonderfully creative community that love to draw and we thought it would be fun to give you the steps it takes to draw some of our most beloved characters!

Each month the Ravenwood Bulletin Newsletter will include a new 'How to Draw...' feature that will show you the steps to draw a doodle of a Wizard101 creature, and a sheet to print out to practice on.

Let's start with How to Draw a Ninja Pig!

Harold Argleston's Book of the Month Club

Harold Argleston, LibrarianThis is the November 2012 installment of my Book of the Month Club. These books have been suggested by a fellow Librarian from Earth, her name is Kit Ward-Crixell and she is a librarian in New Braunfels, Texas, USA.

We continue with tales akin to Avalon with the book Roland Wright, Future Knight by Tony Davis. The first line of this book is already funny! And if you DON’T want to hear about blood squirting like ketchup out of a fast-food ketchup packet, you don’t want to read this book. But if you’re interested in reading about a ten-year-old kid who really wants to be a knight but can’t, and how he gets a chance to be a knight anyway, you’ll like this funny book that also teaches some real facts about the Middle Ages.

Look for this book in your school or local library and enjoy reading, young Wizards!

Fansite Thank you

November is a month of remembrance and thanks. I want to take this opportunity to remember and thank all our hardworking fansites. Fan sites are websites run by fans of the game, and range from sites that provide massive databases of all things Wizard, to blogs about player experiences in the game.

Click here to visit our official fansite list. Maybe you'll learn something you didn't know or maybe you'll be able to contribute information to one of the sites that relies on content submissions from fans just like you.

These sites exist because of wonderful players like you - so thank you!
