Welcome to a new year, my precious little snowflakes!

Most of you know who I am by now but I'll introduce myself anyway. I'm Lydia Greyrose and I'm the Professor of Ice at Ravenwood School of Magical Arts!

We've got some interesting news in this edition of the Ravenwood Bulletin, and I'll start off my welcoming all our newest students! We've had so many new student Wizards that we've added many more Realms. Each Realm is a copy of Wizard101, and you can change Realms easily, if you want to meet up with friends, find a quieter area or if you're looking for a more populated Realm with lots of people to help out.

We at KingsIsle entertainment have officially announced Dragonspyre, the first new 3D world to be added to Wizard101 (www.wizard101.com) since the game launched this fall. Dragonspyre is a large, high level world expected to launch in January 2009.

Dragonspyre continues the storyline of Wizard101. It is an ancient haunted world in which renegade professor Malistaire has recently been spotted. Once an advanced militant society, Dragonspyre had an esteemed Academy rivaling that of the Ravenwood School of Magical Arts in Wizard City. It is a dark world where the inhabitants held a special interest in Fire Magic. Legend has it that in the summoning of a great Dragon Titan, the world was destroyed.

We've had so many new student Wizards that we've added many more Realms to our Wizard101. Each Realm is a copy of the Live game of Wizard101, and you can change Realms easily, if you want to meet up with friends, find a quieter area or if you're looking for a more populated Realm with lots of people to help out.

To change Realms, simply press your ESC key while you're not in a duel, and you will see a tab on the right that has two little blue globes on it.
Click this tab and you will see the Realms page open up. From here you can select from the long list of Realms by clicking on a Realm that is not Closed, and pressing the "Go to Realm" button. You will be teleported to that Realm, in the exact same spot you were standing in your previous location. There is a countdown between Realm changes, so if you're teleporting to friends, make sure you pick the right one!

First up, you'll want to read how our PvP system works, and then you can go directly to the download directions and specifications of our new Test Realm. Please read these directions carefully, they are very important.
