It's that time of year again - the Friendship Festival!

Look for Valentine Heartsong to arrive in the Spiral very soon, and as usual she will setup shop in the Wizard City Shopping District, near the fountain.

February is all about celebrating friends, and what better way to do that than by making them a little more famous! Many of you have noticed that we're changing our Facebook Page Cover every day. Each day we showcase a screenshot submitted by players just like you!

So gather your friends and take some screenshots, then submit them to us and you may just see yourselves on the cover! Don't forget to press Ctrl-G before you take your picture, it will remove all the interface elements for a nice clean screenshot. Just remember to press Ctrl-G again before you venture off!

How to take a Screenshot Players can quickly take a screenshot now using the Print Screen or F12 button on their keyboard. This will save the file in your C:/Program Files/KingsIsle Entertainment/Wizard101/Bin folder (note this will capture your entire screen, so if you are running Wizard windowed, it will capture everything on your screen) You will see the following text to let you know you took a screenshot. You can also take a screenshot using your Print Screen button. Follow these steps: while in the game, press Alt+PrtScn buttons Alt+Tab to desktop and start MSPaint or similar application create new image file press Ctrl+V or otherwise paste the clipboard content save the file in a safe place you'll remember

Our condolences go out to players of Sony's online game "Free Realms"

Just as we lamented the loss of Toontown, Pirates of the Caribbean, Pixie Hollow and Fusionfall in September of 2013, we are also very saddened to hear about the closure of Free Realms in March 2014.

As we look back on the games we played over the years, we don't think about the graphics or the systems, we think about the adventures we had and the friends we made.

When a game such as Free Realms closes, it can be tough for friends to stay together, so please use the Invite Friends button on the in-game friends panel to invite your friends to continue your adventures here in the Spiral.

As for the future Wizard101 - have no fear! We've been a live game for five years, and we've never been stronger. We have such amazing plans ahead, including the culmination of Morganthe's tale (or is it?) as well as several new chapters ahead in the story of the Spiral.

We're not going anywhere, young Wizards; the real adventures in the Spiral are just beginning!

I'd just like to let our players know that Grizzleheim and Wintertusk play a very important role in obtaining school spells later in the game.

At level 35, you can get a new spell from Baldur Goldpaws in Olde Town - but only if you've completed the Grizzleheim quest "One on the Snout" in Mirkholm Keep - so let's visit Grizzleheim today!
