This is the February 2012 installment of my Book of the Month Club. These books have been suggested by a fellow Librarian from Earth, her name is Kit Ward-Crixell and she is a librarian in New Braunfels, Texas, USA.

Our chosen book this month is Usagi Yojimbo, by Stan Sakai.

This is a classic comic book series about Miyamoto Usagi, a samurai rabbit in feudal Japan. Although all the characters are animals, the great historical details (including some violence, just like there really was back in the time of the samurai) make this series appeal to older kids on up to adults. You can find the books newly released as paperbacks, and there are over 20 volumes - Mr. Sakai has been drawing Usagi for over 20 years now!

Look for this book in your school or local library and enjoy reading, young Wizards!

True Friend Codes

Now that you've invited some friends, how do you find them in the game? What better time of year to talk about True Friend codes than during the Friendship Festival!

If a Wizard knows a friend in real life, outside of the game, they can exchange a code that will allow them to find and chat with one another. It may be used by Wizards of all ages, but please make sure you only give these codes to people you know OFF the internet.

To Get or Check a True Friend Code, open your Friends panel and click on the 0101 button. This will open a panel that will allow you to either Get a Code, or Check a Code. It may be used by Wizards of all ages, but again, please make sure you only give these codes to people you know OFF the internet. True Friend Codes can be turned off through Parental Controls.
