Book of the Month Club

Harold Argleston, LibrarianThis is the November 2012 installment of my Book of the Month Club. These books have been suggested by a fellow Librarian from Earth, her name is Kit Ward-Crixell and she is a librarian in New Braunfels, Texas, USA.

Our chosen book this month is Ghost Knight, by Cornelia Funke. If you’re a fan of Ms. Funke’s books, like Inkheart and Dragon Rider, you probably already know about her newest book, Ghost Knight.

Jon has just started boarding school in Salisbury England. He likes the other kids, but he’s got a big problem – he’s being haunted by ghosts! What can he do? Get a ghost to protect him! He recruits Sir William Longspee, the ghost of a famous knight. But Longspee needs help of his own, too. Will Jon be able to help the knight? As you can imagine, this book can be a bit scary, with lots of ghosts and graveyards. If you don’t mind that, you might like the adventure!

Each month the Ravenwood Bulletin Newsletter will include a new 'How to Draw...' feature that will show you the steps to draw a doodle of a Wizard101 creature, and a sheet to print out to practice on.

Gifting in the Game

Players can choose to purchase an item from a shopkeeper or the SHOP button on their screen, and Gift that item to another player on their Friends list.

Not all items are giftable, and only items purchased with Crowns (not gold) can be gifted. Just look for the little gift icon when you're shopping, select an item and click on Gift icon show above.

This Gift giving feature is controlled through Parental Controls. Players over the age of 18 will be able to send Gifts to any other player on their Friends list. Players under the age of 18 will need to enable this feature through the Parental Controls on their account.
