Spring into Action

Wizard101 Easter NPC
The Spring Festival continues! Hi I'm Eggbert and I'll be arriving in the Spiral very soon. I'll bring with me all sorts of spring egg festival related items, including a pet that some of you got a sneak peek of earlier this year - the Pet Egg.

This month's newsletter talks about the upcoming Grizzleheim expansion called Wintertusk! Falmea has a special newsletter, Harold has his Book of the Month Club, and more tidbits of news so keep reading and look for me very soon in the Shopping District, by the fountain.

Announcing Wintertusk
We're very excited to tell you about the upcoming world: Wintertusk!

Wintertusk will complete the epic storyline that began with Grizzleheim and will offer new things to do, and zones to explore for all levels of young Wizards. Wizards will be required to complete their assignments in Grizzleheim before they can participate in Wintertusk!

Along with Wintertusk, we will also be launching new spells and new class pets for each main school of focus. We will be bringing back the underwater zone of the Crab King in sunken Triton Avenue, to tell a story about life in Crab Alley after the departure of Selena Gomez.

Have a sneak peek at Grandmother Raven, and for those of you following the story, her appearance will solve many outstanding mysteries of the Spiral!

Harold Argleston's Book of the Month Club

Wizard101 Librarian Harold Argleston
This is the April 2011 installment of my Book of the Month Club. These books have been suggested by a fellow Librarian from Earth, her name is Kit Ward-Crixell and she is a librarian in New Braunfels, Texas, USA.

This month we continue looking at books that remind us of the world of Celestia. This is one recommendation with two books in it! The Fantastic Undersea Life of Jacques Cousteau by Dan Yaccarino, and Manfish, by Jennifer Byrne, both tell the true story of a real undersea explorer named Jacques Cousteau. Jacques Cousteau not only invented scuba tanks, wetsuits, and swim fins; he also figured out how to make underwater films to tell everyone about the importance of the oceans and everything that lives there. Both of these books are short and have lots of pictures.

We're happy to announce that we have another Producer's Letter. Frequently the Wizard101 Producer, Leah Ruben, will address the players, talk about what's going on behind the scenes and hopefully give our players a sneak peek of what's to come. Many of you have already interacted with her on the Wizard101 Message Boards, for Leah Ruben is also known as Dalia Falmea!

In this month's letter, Leah talks about Wintertusk (and includes two sneak peek pictures), high level quest pets, some challenges for our Legendary Wizards, and more about what it takes to be a game developer
