When I completed the quest helping the Pegasus trainer I was hoping I might get a chance to ride a Pegasus as a reward. I was pretty disappointed when that didn't happen. I can understand KI doesn't want to cut into crown sales by giving out free permanent mounts, but a seven day or even 24 hour pegasus mount would have been much more satisfying than the gold and pet snack the quest currently gives.
