In the other threads here people just say "use treasure cards" or something but if you want to take your time (or if you like your low pip attacks) here is his cheat:
If you attack him, you need to have a shield on or else he says "You won't last long without Shields!" and casts a buffed Vampire on you. The problem here is that, every third round, he takes off ALL your shields. So the spell casting should look something like this: Shatter (Randolf), Shield (you), Attack (you).
Actually, his lesson is about using traps. If you trap him, he doesn't cheat (as much). Instead of using blades, use traps. This will help tremendously.

Nope, that's Professor Droors. If he isn't trapped (staring from round 3) he says "Did you forget how to use Traps?" and spams Helping Hands on himself.
Randolf Spellshine does a good job of displaying what happens in a PvP match when people are always destroying your shields (players don't use Vampires out of turn, but you get the picture...)
