How do I reach Sohomer Sunblade in Triton?

I can see Sohomer on the map but I still can't find him anywhere. Is he hiding behind something, or is he just nowhere near his map icon?

Where he shows up on the map is a little misleading.
In Triton Avenue there are a series of teleport pads that help you move up the waterfall.

The first one takes you from the lower waterfall to land in front of Blad Raveneye.
The second one (behind him) takes you up to Sohomer Sunblade.
The third one (beside Sohomer) takes you to the Kraken.

Once you can go to Kraken, you take the teleport pad behind Blad. Then there will be a guy standing right there. You won't miss him
