I think that the dorm that you start with should be maybe a little bigger another room would be nice.Some people have tons of stuff and not even a bigger house so maybe you could pay a little extra to get your dorm upgraded as you go throughout the spiral

Why wouldn't you spend the extra gold you reference to buy one of the houses that are already available for gold to store all your stuff?
