Why can't I lock out duels?

I'm sure everyone has frequently had the same problem. Ppl join duels uninvited, or even when you ask them not to join. They add trash mobs and make long, tedious fights take even longer. Some even just run out the clock and pass every turn.

Why can't I lock people out of my duels?
