Using the enemies pips against them

I would like to see schools like Ice and Death get some sort of spells that would use the enemie's pips to determine damage and/or effect.

here's an example:

Death casts spell XXX on an enemy with 2 pips. The spell then does 5 points of damage for each of the pips that the enemy has resulting in 10 points of damage. Death then casts the same spell on an enemy with 7 pips. The spell does 5 points of damage for each pip resulting in 35 points of damage.

Or

Ice casts spell XXY on an enemy that has 4 pips. That enemy is stunned for 4 rounds but the same spell cast on an enemy with 2 pips only stuns that enemy for 2 rounds.

now, the cost to Death and ice has to balance out what is going to happen to the Enemy, but instead of that being a pip cost, I suggest it's a little more devious:

the spell only costs 1 pip to cast, however ice would be stunned as well, but only half as long as the enemy was

or

The spell costs Death 1 pip to cast, but puts a 50% hex on the caster AND adds 1% for each pip that the enemy has - so if Death cast the spell on an enemy that had 7 pips, the hex would be 50% +7 % for a total of 57%

course those are just off the cuff examples and I'm not suggesting that it really do damage if Death cast it or stun if Ice cast it.

What I'm suggesting is that the classes that don't hit hard, that are more supporting classes, be given something that would be powered by the enemy's pips instead of by their own.

I'm not sure, I don't think 4 pips = 4 rounds of being stunned is very fair, lol.

I would like to point out that balance has this, it's called mana burn. And death totally hits hard! We have the best blades and traps in the game!
