I was in the Warehouse the other day when it occurred to me that life wizards have an early advantage on the top floor. In fact, it's really sad that we've come to accept flight and return to the tower as a good way to win the battle. Especially for a theurgist, this is unacceptable. We pride ourselves on keeping our friends alive in any battle. The Mareleybone Warehouse is no different.
My theory rests on the idea that it doesn't matter if the cat casts Rebirth when we cast a heal in the early rounds, because his spell does not give Absorb. Thus, he is essentially wasting pips to heal his undamaged companions. Conversely, since the theurgist's Rebirth gives everyone Absorb, the wizard team would sustain very little damage in the early rounds of the battle.
This strategy requires 2 theurgists, at least one of which should be level 58 and 2 elementals, ideally fire and storm.
Theurgists' decks should contain: Rebirth, Unicorn, and Forest Lord and/or Centaur, plus blades, shields, heal boosts, etc. They should also have around 80% power pip chance.
In the first six rounds or so, elementalists blade and shield while they gain pips for big hits. While they do so, theurgists alternate spamming rebirth and unicorn. When the elementalists attack the rats, healing stops until the cat is dead. Hopefully, both rats die in the first round of attack. If not, it's OK, because all wizards have shields, Absorb, and good health.
Nothing changes in the time it takes to kill the rats and the cat. No heals, no group damage spells, etc.
Theurgists then prepare to attack with Forest Lord and/or Centaur. When theurgists and elementalists are fully bladed, everyone hits the cat. If all goes well, he should die quickly. It won't matter if the boss hits with Nova, because at that point, he's the only enemy left, and theurgists can heal their team.
