I'm tired of shields and blades get taken away. Maybe there should be a star spell that doesn't allow take any blades or shields away. Is that an awesome idea? :D

That'd be awesome, but I think it'd be abused in PvP.
It wouldn't be bad if player resistance topped out. That is if player resistances could never go above 70 or 80% (80% may be a bit high). At the moment they can go to 100% and I've seen players don equipment to be immune to storm on the last crystal lake boss fight.
