I've noticed some weird things about two of the level 88 spells. Let me just remind everyone of some things before I tell you what should be changed. Fire is the school that does damage over time. Damage over time spells do more damage than normal spells because they are over time. Okay, here are the changes I think should happen:
Death's Avenging Fossil does 850-950 damage to a single target, then 250 damage over three rounds to all enemies.
Fire's Sun Serpent does 900-1000 damage to a single target, then 300 damage (not over three rounds) to all enemies
Notice anything weird? I think it's strange that Fire does more damage when it's not a DoT, and Death does less damage when it is a DoT. It's also strange that Fire does not get a DoT because they are the school of Damage over Time. Now, what I think should be changed:
Avenging Fossil: 850-950 damage to a single target, then 300 damage over three rounds to all enemies OR 850-950 damage to a single target, then 275 damage (not Dot)
Sun Serpent: 900-1000 damage to a single target, then 350 DoT to all enemies OR current
I think this makes more sense because DoTs do more damage than regular hits. I really think Sun Serpent should be changed to a DoT, and Avenging Fossil changed to a regular hit. Anyone agree? Thanks for your feedback!

I disagree. Both these spells offer something MORE to each school that is outside their other spells. Sun Serpent offers a much more powerful attack to a trapped boss, while also hitting the minions for lesser damage, something it's powerful DOT don't do. Avenging Fossil pretty much does the same but also adds the shield removing benefit of DOT. Both spells do exactly what they are intended to do.
