How about if instead for stats boosts for Anthems, Rings, and Decks. For players they get speed jewels for their Hats, Garments, and boots
For speed jewels they can range up to 5-60 speed. And since they only give increased speed and not stats they can all be level 15.
For the reason I want this to happen is for a way to get to places faster. (like when you have to do Hades and you forgot to place a mark)
For the reason why 5-60 is because I kinda want to see how fast a player can go when they reach 100% speed. (Or 108 if you buy the speed boots)
They should be treated like a jewel, meaning that once its on it should (or must) be shattered to replace or just take it off the Hats, Garment, and Boots.

We already have mounts for speed. I do like the idea of adding sockets to additional gear but honestly I wouldn't want to waste a socket on speed when I have a mount that gives a 40% speed boost. If there were sockets added to hats, robes and boots I'd prefer being able to add battle stats. Also, consider the revenue impact this would have on KI. You would eliminate the need for mounts and in so doing would reduce the amount of Crowns people would spend. Not a very sound business model.
Was it on a pet? If so then it was a selfish talent star jewel
I don't remember for sure. It's possible that it was, and that it was just +25 Agility score. That does make more sense.
For some reason I thought I remembered seeing a % behind it though, which is why I was thinking it was a speed boost. The selfish pet talents are a flat number, not a percentage.
But again, it's quite possible I'm just remembering it wrong. I didn't spend a whole lot of time examining it.

True, I guess it wouldn't be smart if it takes away money instead of making more.
I wanted the speed jewels to happen so that you wouldn't have to use your mount. (In some dungeons you can't even use a mount). Maybe 10-40 or 10-30 to keep it lower then the mounts or the same.
I do see the point. But what if they sell the speed jewels in the crown shop Could that work
Thanks for the input, I never really thought of it that way.

I suppose they could be a Crown item but I still don't really see a necessity for them. You're filling a socket with a jewel that would be useful only when you're going from point A to point B. That slot could more efficiently be used for an offensive or defensive boost or even a jewel that grants a spell card. Regarding the speed jewel and dungeons... it could backfire on you. You're correct that in most dungeons we leave our mount at the door because typically there aren't long distances to travel inside a dungeon. If you had a speed boost jewel equipped in a gauntlet dungeon like Waterworks you might unintentionally run into the next part of a gauntlet prematurely because of the extra speed. That's assuming that if there were speed jewels they wouldn't be nullified by entering the dungeon... similar to what happens with mounts.
