I think there should be a special badge for the players who played the game within the first year the game was out!
Badges are typically earned and I personally don't view that as an "accomplishment." However, KI has and will likely continue to acknowledge long time players. Last year, they gave different special mounts and housing items based on how long you have been playing (or at least signed up). Who knows what is in store this year.
