Should we change the way pips work?

Alright, so I began thinking about what would come after Azteca and Morganthe, and I began thinking about new spells and their pip cost. So I began thinking, we may need a new way pips work. Azteca introduced Rank 10 spells, but even with Power Pips this seems to take a while to charge. You can't go beyond 14 pips, so, with Morganthe about to wrap up and new world's on the way, (hopefully). This limit may come closer then you think. So maybe we need something extra to add to pips, I'm no professional game designer, but what if high enough wizards began getting something that I'm gonna call Mega Pips. These could only be available to wizards of high enough level, and be worth 3 normal pips! I think it may extend how far we could go with spells, what do you think?
