Sharpened Blade and Potent Trap spells need change
Blades that are enhanced with Sharpened Blade, or traps enhanced with Potent Trap, should be distinguishable from an unsharpened blade or trap. They could have a gold ring around their edge or a slightly different, deeper or brighter color so we can distinguish by sight exactly what type of blades or traps are in place on each wizard and what type could be further stacked. Asking, "Was that sharpened or not?" to each teammate after their turn isn't practical, and adding an unstackable blade means a wasted turn. We should be able to tell just by looking where we stand blade-wise.
I can't imagine this would be too difficult to write into the program and it is just silly the number of times I find myself asking, "was that blade or trap enhanced", and the number of times I waste a turn because I can't remember.
Re: Sharpened Blade and Potent Trap spells need change
In a different but related thread I remember someone suggesting that the "back" side of floating shields, traps, and blades have a number on them that indicates the percentage effect. I thought this was a great idea, not only making it clearer what effect the spells have but making it easier to distinguish the different versions. This would make sharpened/potent versions clearly distinct since they have higher percentages. It would also help distinguish between learned/treasure card/item card versions of these spells, since the different versions often (though not always) have different percentages.

I support this idea fully. It would be a big help because after a while it's hard to remember which buffs you put on and which ones you didn't, especially if you were going for a max hit or the "One in a million" achievement. KingsIsle please implement this!

Would be nice, but if enough blades are casted, they overlap. A fix for this should be to allow up to 3 rows for blades to stack vertically, so we can tell easier when we have mounds of blades up.
