I don't think you should be worried about this because you are not the right level/world to be able to use Shadow Magic. Although it is a thought, I'm sure KI already has Light Magic developing. Sense Shadow Magic is like Moon and Star magic, I was thinking Light Magic would be like Sun Magic, but not in a way that adds damage to the spell.

I was thinking along slightly different lines, I'd say that if shadow magic is like -similar to spells
-big stat boosts -short time -backlash
then I would imagine its opposite, light magic, would be more like - similar to spells -small bonuses -Very long time -mostly stable(or normal, like star spells), with a chance of a nice bonus at the end.
