We all know where pets come from. Eggs. And we know what we have to do to get them, hatch a pet. But sometimes people are stingy and are specific on what they want or nobody wants to hatch with your pet. How about this concept? Based on the Pokémon X and Y video games there is a feature called the Wonder Trade.
What if that same concept is brought to Wizard101 for hatching.
Wonder Trade worked as you can trade creatures with someone around the world. (in this case it will be individual servers) and you have no knowledge of whom the person is or what creature they used for the wonder trade. When the pet hatches it will follow the main guideline where abilities and talents are split and you have your egg. This makes for less arguments, more hatching and more excitement and mystery surrounding your pets.

Oh man, I don't think I would like this unless it was totally optional. As hard as it is to hatch certain traits into a pet I can only imagine the nightmare of having all that randomness thrown into the hatching. x Shudders x It would have to be for a really low amount of gold to risk getting junk for my money.

um there is a reason their picky sure its better then your pet but until you get good pet and haven't got it exactly where you wanted your not gonna realize after you've done so much to get a pet that far you don't wanna do extra to get a worse pet

True... But however what if it was huge? I figured that would be an issue from the start is the pets provided in the Hatch so ideas are as follows:
1.) Random Hatches will cost: 25000 for free to play members and crown players and will allow you one hatch a day for random hatch. (Will not interfere with the normal hatch given) and 20000 for members, once a day
2.) Put in categories for what sort of pet your looking for, similar to pokemon's way of finding them. Example: School Class pet, Crown pets, etc.
But I do feel however this is more of the thrill to use. it is not a requirement so if you feel too strongly about my valid opinion then don't waste money on it. Its a great idea however.
Also I felt as an idea for when they released it, for a limited time they can give out 2 new pets in the crown shop, first is FrostGiant, a design from the frost giant card. And what storms would love, StormLord. They will have a new spell on each, the giant receives a card similar to the 5 pip fire move that hangs all (Scald?) but is for ice. The storm will receive something new that's based off of death, a storm attack that adds a weakness after (25%)
Ps, this actually does help rid the ones who ask you constantly, "Wanna hatch wanna hatch wanna hatch wanna hatch?" because they do get one, in the random hatcher.
