One of the major points of discussion is the teleport option. There seems to be little middle ground; either you allow everyone to teleport to you, allowing lower level friend to enter unsuitable areas, or you block everyone, preventing people who you are playing with from rejoining you quickly. While everyone has an option about one option or the other being unsuitable, there are few good compromises.
One feature that is not commonly used is the ability for people to join into groups. Right now, it only saves spots in fights and opens an additional chat channel to allow the people to communicate at longer ranges. Perhaps a third option for teleporting can be added in, similar to allowing people into your house. If a player can set teleport for group only, it would allow people in their group to teleport to them, while blocking everyone else. If someone wishes to join in a dungeon that can be ported into, a player would just have to invite the person into the group first. This would allow the individual player to have some control over who can teleport to them during play, while not requiring the player to turn their status on and off repeatedly or getting automated messages to allow teleporting during battle.
