possible ideas of a light school

  1. Reminder a spell named call of light. For wizard101 the video game I play. What lies in shadows cannot escape light. I want to help develop a light school for wizard101. Basically call of light will shine light causing a stunning for 2 turns. Usage 3 pips. And one light pip. There is shadow pips thanks to a shadow queen named Morganton. It made the counsel of light and the help of a wizard fight off shadow and learn shadow magic.
  2. Basically headmaster ambrose will teach the wizard this spell. And send the wizard to a new world called Edison city. Put a lot of thought into that by the way. A wizard would meet Edison himself in a virtual world. Where he teaches the wizard light spells although in order to get to Edison the wizard must go through the shadow army of the rat again and find where the hideout of the spider king.
  3. Where Edison is held captive by the spider king. The wizard must free him from his treacherous spells. And This Is Only The First Part Of EDISON CITY.
  4. Edison will teach you a light spell called the kite of lightning. where he discovered the idea of electricity. kite of lightning does 1500 damage. pip cost is one light pip plus 7 regular pips.
  5. another spell called electromagnetism a spell that disperses a magnetic field giving a higher chance of light pips. 40% chance of light pips costs only 4 pips.
  6. another spell can be called crystal laser light. basically its a spell that casts a crystal and a laser is shot through it to cause light damage. spells base damage is 100 per pip plus one light pip also has 20% armor piercing as a base. can be increased by a sun spell with additional damage or armor piercing.

  7. There will be a pet that would be called spark sphere. basically a sphere of electromagnetism that shines bright like a light. and has a body of magnets. can learn may cast mana burn likely chance of casting is 30%. may cast dimension shift. gives a light blade spell as its base spell at ancient the light blade spell is 40% increase to any light damage spell.

  8. If you are interested in creating a light school to fight off the shadows and save it from darkness then plz reply to this.

You're not going to get a light school that opposes shadow, (the way that schools like myth/storm, life/death, ice/fire are opposed to each other), because shadow is the dark side of our reality. The negative side full of death and decay. And why there's a backlash if you summon shadow creatures - because you're touching the anti-reality which is dangerous (just like anti-matter is to matter).

So all the existing schools already are in opposition to shadow.

There's one major flaw in your logic of shadow opposing light. Shadow is not the opposite of light. Light CAUSES Shadow. Shadow only exists in the presence of light. Exposing something in shadow to light only changes the location of the shadow that is cast by the new light source. Shadow should not be confused with darkness. Shadow is merely a part of the reality that is exposed by the reflection of light. Darkness is the absence of light. Darkness has no power because by it's very definition it's nothing. Sorry if that sounds a bit philosophical, but it's true of actual light, shadow and darkness. From a game standpoint, there are already 10 schools of light and one of shadow. We don't need a "light" school. The elemental, spirit, balance and astral schools are ALL schools of light as it is. And darkness, which would be the logical counter to light holds no power because it's nothing. Light can illuminate darkness, darkness is just absence of light. You can add light to a dark room, you cannot add dark, only turn off the lights.
