I am not as organized as some pet collectors. I have put my original pet drops in one location, and hatches in another. But since I have created additional wizards and kept a number of pets in my back pack, I have started losing track of which pets are original and which are products of hatches.
I would find it helpful if there was some kind of mark that would indicate if a pet was an original from a purchase or drop vs one that is a product of a hatch.
That way if I ever want to look up what the potential train abilities of a pet might be in case I want to use it for hatching purposes I could get a better idea.
I realize that would only work with original pets, but it would at least be something, and I accept that I will never be so organized as to keep track of the various results of hatches other than to notice whether the level number is much better the more I hatch.

This is what I've done to handle that situation: I always re-name my pets (if they're promising) since the beginning because I don't particularly like the King or Mister or Princess titles that most pets start with. So I've named all first generation pets with names starting with the letter "A" and then just went on from there. Now I know if I'm working with a pet who's name starts with "C" it's a third generation. By combining that with a simple pen and paper record of the parents and their talents I can get a better idea of what talents might manifest in the offspring.
