Pets that grow up

What this idea would do is change the appearance of the pet as it levels up, in addition to giving a stronger card each level. Let’s take an easy example: Fire Elves. There’s various versions of them as both monsters and spells. Let’s use a pet called “Fire Elf Morpher” or a "Morpher Elf". This would be a fire school only pet, could be bred, but only the fire school would get the morphing looks. All other schools would simply get the Yellow Elf pet looks.

Level: Baby
Pet Appearance: Fire Elf
Card: N/A
Damage: N/A
Pips: N/A

Level: Teen
Pet Appearance: Fire Elf
Card: Fire Elf
Damage: 100 + (200 DOT)
Pips: 2

Level: Adult
Pet Appearance: Yellow Fire Elf
Card: Yellow Elf
Damage: 110 + (210 DOT)
Pips: 2

Level: Ancient
Pet Appearance: Fire Elf Hunter
Card: Elf Hunter
Damage: 125 + (225 DOT)
Pips: 3

Level: Epic
Pet Appearance: Alicane Swiftarrow
Card: Yellow Hunter
Damage: 150 + (250 DOT)
Pips: 3

Level: Mega
Pet Appearance: Fire Elf Pathfinder
Card: Elf Pathfinder
Damage: 175 + (275 DOT)
Pips: 4

This was just an example and ALL schools should get at least ONE Morphing pet. Also, I’m sure people will say the spells I chose are overpowered. They are JUST EXAMPLES, so please take them as such.

Interesting Idea. I can see this working with only some pets though, not all.

yes, this is NOT for every new pet that comes out, but for something a little bit different for school quest reward pets.

I like how the pets stay the same. The abilities change and the pet stays the same, so if you like the original look you can keep it.
