I love the pet system and the many various talents that pets are able to learn as they go from baby to epic, but lets face it some of the talents that pets get are completely useless. There are specific pets that I just love way too much to just throw aside and level a new pet that could possibly get better stats that i'm not completely in love with. So I think there needs to be some sort of talent reroll system. Put an item in the crown shop that could reroll the pet talent stats that we aren't to happy about. For example I recently leveled my shadow beast from teen to adult and it unlocked an hp bonus of +16... (I'm sorry but that stat is completely useless, unless it was higher). Then with the new item (bought from the crown shop), I should be able to reroll the specific stat I choose (in this case the +16 hp talent) and randomly reroll it, hoping that it is higher, if not then i should be able to reroll again till i get a desired amount. This way the specific pets that you just adore aren't siting around being completely useless..
Along with a specific reroll talent item I think there should also be an item that gets rid of undesired talent and randomly replaces it with a new one.
