Contest? so, hear me out, what if Wizard101 holds a contest for designing a pet (the design might be subjected to change to fit the style of the game better), either have a set number of winners or a winner for each world available in the game ( like a pet made to a theme of a world (dragonspyre, mooshu etc)) or even one for each school 'cause the pets in the game are nice and all but alot of them are just different colors and names of the same creature, even some of the mounts are based on the same model of other mounts. it'd be a nice thing to have some ideas that came right from the players, it adds variety and as a player you feel more like you've helped make the game better and not just playing it.
other stuff: pets now in days are becoming too easy to get because now all of them are basically crowns/pack bought, the same pets from the shop also come from bosses with no real difference to 'em, not saying all of 'em are like that but most are, and for those of us that don't have crowns have to work harder to get stuff that others can simply buy in a few clicks. if Wizard101 is not going to make any different pets exclusive to certain bosses and such then make the pets you get from bosses either stronger/come with a stronger card/ different costume/ come with an unusual spell or ability (like with a super cool card like Keeper of the Flame or something), or something different from the store bought one, since you have to work harder for them. personally I like to collect the pets and all but I get confused at what i do and don't have 'cause they all look REALLY similar and also I figure whats the point at going back to certain bosses/worlds for pets if I can just buy it....I don't know maybe it's just me but from a player's point of view the pets aren't as fun to collect if one has to farm a boss for 3 hours when others can get it in a few clicks.....
Wizard101 is a good game but I feel like the rewards should be made better for those who choose to take real hours of their day to farm a boss for a similar pet in the shop, if W101 could make completely new creatures to get from bosses or special mounts from bosses that'd be better but if not then readjust the ones currently available....
would you enjoy a pet making contest? better pet/mount drops? or some better rewards for those of us who take real hours of our day farming (not the gardening kind of farming)?
