Here we have the technology to breed two different species with each other and gain offspring, sometimes even hybrids... So obviously the hatchery uses DNA Splicing to do this, hence the extreme gold costs... So why not put your pet in alone, and have it recreated as an egg once again? The technology is clearly available.

It would be even more better if we could downgrade the pet by one age, for a huge price. Hell i'd be willing to pay 5,000-10,000 crowns for this.

Why? Imagine, if you will, that you buy a large amount of crowns, because you want a pet in a limited time pack. But unfortunately, your not shown the probability numbers for these items (i'm guessing it was far less than 1%), so you get stubborn and keep throwing every cent you have at this darn thing in order to get it, receiving TONS of duplicate items, which you just have to sell for a handful of gold because your not allowed to trade ANYTHING you get from these packs. (so why give us duplicates? That seems rather sketchy if you ask me.) So many duplicates that every so often you have to stop and sell/bank/sharedbank/attic even buy a second house just to store all the duplicate things you were given just so you can rebuy these packs looking for 1 freaking pet... After a full bank, attic, sharedbank, filled house, almost filled second house, over 80+ other pets, I get 1 penumbra drake (126 packs, 37,674 crowns). It only has 2 useless/bad skills, I just got 1 of them. And I am betting, once fully upgraded, it will be given the other bad skill. With odds like that, I would NEVER risk hatching the drake with another pet, and I am so unbelievably sick of getting a million duplicate items that I cant do anything with from packs that I dont ever want to see another pack so long as I live.

Conclusion: It fits, that if wizard city has a DNA Splicer that can breed any two species of pet, it could easily alter a single pet. And if you attach a crown price, you could also make some nice crown sales. I mean, you can't possibly expect us to spend 40-50$ on packs (or more depending on luck) every time a special pack-only pet gets screwed up? If anything, I would think that would hurt sales due to frustration with a bad system that feels like its designed to pump as much cash from us as possible. (no auction, no trade, infinite duplicates, lack of storage space, horrible odds for some items.) If you wont change the way packs work, at-least add a method for downgrading pets, it doesn't even have to be all pets, just special pets that can only be obtained through crown purchases.
