Well it depends on what kind of spells best work for you like for instance if you go with the second one you would have a good heal for more pips, a feint to boost your spells and blades/traps to use to boost your spells so it might work for you if you can wait some rounds without getting killed. If you go with the first one you would still get feint to boost, a lower heal for three rounds for less pips and a tower shield to protect from spells killing you so this is probably for you if you just want to get things done faster. But in my opinion, I would go with the second one because you will get a nice heal in difficult situations but for four regular pips which will be easy for you to get once you lvl more and you get a feint to boost your spells and traps/blades to boost your spells. I hope this helped.
