New Teachers

Here's my idea. We should get new teachers in an upcoming world who would teach us school spells that use shadow pips like the new lvl 100 spells. I would think that the teachers at raven wood wouldn't know how to cast shadow spells sense it was locked away for along time so its not like they would be able to teach you shadow spells.

So i think it should go like this. Were introduced to a new world(maybe like a side world like how Wysteria is) and this world has a bunch of people are used to using shadow spells like they haven't been locked away. You talk to your school specific teacher and he/she tells you that they would be happy to take you on and teach you all they know about shadow spells. So you talk to Merle Ambrose about these new schools and the teacher who would teach your shadow school spells. Hes fine with this new teacher teaching you about shadow spells but you would need to get the permission of your school teacher. When you talk to your school teacher he/she isn't to thrilled about you leaving and thinks that your not fully prepared and wants to test if your ready(Maybe some of the teachers think differently or react differently when you talk to them).

So you Battle them and they have like 30,000 health because they are teachers and are experienced so they shouldn't be to easy. They use all of the school spells that you learned from them but not shadow spells(because you know they never learned how to use them). I think they should use a cheat when you cast a shadow spell and they say like "I never taught you that" Or something and they cast the strongest spell in the school or they heal themselves. After you defeat them there fine with you being taught by another teacher.

Thanks if you read this all i know this was a lot but i was thinking about who will teach us future shadow spells if we do get them in the future and i thought of this great idea.

I would love to see a quest where we restore Dragonspyre Academy and all of the trees. That would be a good place to rekindle a Ravenwood type of atmosphere for training with new professors.

What would be cool is to create some new NPC actions for that quest. For example either Merle Ambrose or your school professor comes along with you. In Khrysalis we had NPC's who joined us that improved our stats. For this we could have it so that every so many rounds the NPC that comes with us would interrupt the battle to cast a spell.

The Astral schools aren't technically Light magic. Perhaps on this journey we could also be introduced to a professor of Light magic, and that could be the (or another) NPC that joins us on our quest. Their assistance could be to use Light to block the Shadow if/when we face shadowmancers.

Lots of possibilities to consider if we start looking at new professors, which I think we should. There are even a few vacant buildings in a fully restored Dragonspyre Academy that could be rented out to professors of the other schools.
