New Critical System- The "Critical Limit"

Being a long time player of the game, I've been noticing one thing recently, THE CRITICAL SYSTEM SUCKS! So, I came up with a new system, the "Critical Limit" System. So, What is the system. This would be a way the game calculates the Critical, Critical Block, and Pip Conversion percentages. This system would be based on the player's level, and a "Critical Limit". This would be the minimum possible rating needed to reach 100% in a stat.
Here's a list of the levels and the Critical Limit for them:
  • Below Lv.50 200
  • Lv.50-59 250
  • Lv.60-69 300
  • Lv.70-79 350
  • Lv.80-89 400
  • Lv.90-99 500
  • Lv.100-109 600
  • Lv.110-120 700
To calculate the Critical percentage, use Critical/Critical Limit. For example, a Level 78 player has 226 Critical Rating. Using the equation 226/350, you'd get 0.645. The Critical percentage would be 64.5%. A player with the same amount of Critical at Level 100 would have a 37.6% Critical percentage. This should fix a lot of problems with the current system used for Criticals

I believe critical is outrages mostly because of crown gear and its exploitation. I would suggeste rather a critical cap depending on your class.

Ice capped at 200 being tank

Storm capped at 900 being DPS 1

Fire capped at 700 being DPS 2

Myth capped at 400 being DPS 3

Life capped at 200 having high support

Death capped at 300 being DPS 3 / Controller

Balance: 300 being DPS 3

And for future shadow capped at 100 and same for light (if it comes out)

A hit should land with (C) / (pC + qB + r) chance (I suggest p = 3, q = 7, r = 100), and the multiplier should be the same in PvE and PvP and vary only on the school (Storm would get 1.85, and Life would get 1.25). Heals should not be eligible for criticals.

This removes one incentive against leveling, and Mirage would probably be more popular.

That's not fair to cap school's crit. Some schools already get less crit with their gear there's no reason to constrict there abilities further. Ice and Life should be able to hit if they want to. The problem with crit is that as your level gets higher and you get to max level your crit percentage isn't very high because it drops as your level increases. The percentage has dropped as we've leveled to max but we haven't been able to increase the number very much because most of the best gear is from lvl 100. We need upgraded gear with more crit to combat the lower percentage. A crit cap would only cause more outrage.

The critical system is like everything else in this game. RANDOM

The best solution is to get rid of crit altogether. While we're at it, let's get rid of block as well.

I agree with you to remove block and critical. I believe king isle regret them self they put it in because of the amount of times they had to go back and edit it. However if they do people will SCREACH about it. Honestly king isle needs to make try hard choice and remove it.
