Ok, before I start let me get this out of the way . . .
WARNING: I have NOT finished Avalon, Azteca, Krhysalis, Aquila, Tale of 4 Dungeons, or Darkmoor!!! Therefore, DO NOT blame me if this conflicts with any of those stories. And if it has already been suggested in 2015, AFTER Arc 2's completion I'm NOT aware of that either.
Well that was a long warning, lol.
Anyways, I am suggesting something I have seen throughout the Message Boards, but BEFORE Arc 2's completion: Light Magic (I will be refering to it using throughout this thread). However, I will not take any of those ideas (as I didn't even read them anyway), and any I did take, were purely coincidential.
First, is in no way a counter to magic or a Starter School. Those who have seen my posts throughout the Message Boards know well I'm against a school of those sorts.
So, story:

Note: I will be including parts of my idea from Warrior101, but since it's only an idea, and nothing has been confirmed (or denied for that matter) I will try to keep them fairly limited and to stay true to Wizard101's canon.
Note: Far as I went into the story, Ambrose, Yoshito, Zenzen Seven Star, Greyrose, and King Arthur were the Council of Light (and maybe Diego, but I'm not so sure).
Dark Times rage throughout the Spiral. Even with the Queen of the Shadow Web defeated, Shadow Magic has spread to numerous worlds of the Spiral, turning those infected into tools of evil. These "Dark Forces" are the same that layed seige to Avalon so long ago when you were but a Novice Wizard, and new to the larger Spiral. The Dark Forces' only mission is to destroy the Spiral . . . a doomsday weapon created by (insert ancient guy who created magic here)'s underling, The Ruin, who had dreams of re-shaping the First World into his own image even if he couldn't be around to see it.
Merle Ambrose has assembled the Council of Light to find a way to defeat this new enemy. They have started the first attempts at creating a new magic: Light Magic, to defeat the Dark Forces. Light Magic, (besides it obviously being named for vanquishing the Shadows) was named as a symbol of hope, that the Council is actively helping the Spiral. However, this also comes with the price that the magic is so deep, only highly-skilled wizards/warriors like the members of the Council of Light can learn Light Magic.
With a good idea of how this new magic will work, you have been summoned to (insert important building here of Avalon) of (insert Avalon area here), in Avalon to be teached this new magic . . .
Information about School and Gameplay:
Name: Light Magic
Symbol: A wand shining bright.
Gemstone: Magical Gemstone created by magically re-forming Stardust found in the wild of worlds. Also amplifies nearby users.
Wizard Titles: Light Bringer
Function in Combat: Flexible, but they don't break the mold like or "cheat" like .
I'm not entirely sure if there are mobs that are of in Khrysalis, but the Infected should certainly belong to the Shadow School.
And I'm not sure either if there are spells wizards can use that are purely and entirely , but either way spells like Call of Kruthrulu ( + ) count as Shadow Spells against Light enemies.
Also, we should have some Light Pips. These work just like Shadow Pips, but instead, your chances of gaining one per turn are increased by 0.1% each time you use a spell. You should start with about 20%, and it ends once you have achieved 80%.
Also you can use Power Pips when a Light Spell requires normal Pips.
