Yes, I know about the new horde pack, and some great wands there, however, not every school gets a new wand. Now that we are getting maycast wands with polymorph attack spells, why not maycast Shift Spell wands? The shift spells are already in the game, and every school has one. Give them a high crafting level and recipe, 4-6 regular wand hits and the shift spell. However, I would recommend multiple recipes. Every school wand hit (not maycast) should have an option for school aligned and opposite school damage. Reason being, many of us who are fire use ice attacks, so we should be able to do that. So, for example:
Fire Wand #1 - maycast Shift Grendl Fire Wand #2 - maycast Shift Dread Paladin
Both wands should maintain the fire school after effects (not the DoT since that's the damage part of the spell).

This is one of the biggest problems I have with new wands; they are mostly school damage aligned. The STATS are awesome, but the ATTACKS make me not want them since only fire can use fire, etc. I'm a pyromancer who uses ice wands so that I can still wand off weaknesses without losing my blades & traps, and I feel that that strategy is being squelched due to lack to available newer wand combinations in the game. Also, keep in mind that the damage is LOWER than the new pack wands, considerably. This would balance the issue of maycast, damage, and after effects.
