One thing I have always liked about the game at low levels was the ability to mix and match gear to get the stats I wanted. However I find that less so in upper levels, so my proposal is to have a enchant slot added to gear and have some enchant patterns that cover all the different stats available as a crafting recipe. So if I wanted to have a bit more damage or block I could craft the enchant and add it to my gear.

as long as these extras were kept in check, and not overpowered, I have zero problem with this. Always found most gear was just shy of what I actually wanted, so being allowed to SLIGHTLY modify these would be great
