Five-Minute Fixes

So I've never posted any of my opinions on wizard101's forums. I have for piraate101, but never wizard. However, after getting back into the game, (I'm on Celestia) I noticed one thing that really stood out to me that pirate had and wizard didn't: quest icons. What they basically are are little icons in the corner of every quest on your quest page that determine whether the quest is a side quest, a main story quest, a class related quest, or so on. Furthermore, pirate's quest page was sorted with all of the quest types listed on the page in order of relevance to the core gameplay, with story required quests at front, then class quests, and optional side quests at the back. In wizard, this would really help me, as I am the kind of person who accepts every quest every npc has to offer, but doesn't necessarily do them all. Sifting through what has now accumulated to about twelve pages of quests to find whichever quest I may be doing is becoming increasingly annoying. What really bothers me is that this seems like a five-minute fix, but it would make the whole quest system so much more convenient. And this isn't the only thing that could be done in five minutes by some guy at Kingsisle to improve the game. So leave your comments below on things Kingsisle could do easily to make the game just that much more convenient.

There are a lot of things about pirates that i'd like to see added to this game. Including when you port to your house you instantly have access to your chest. You don't have to run inside to a set location. Wherever you are on your property you can open your chest. On a side note, coding this is not going to take five minutes.

Completely revamping the quest system coding is NOT a minor 5 minute fix. Just because it took you 5 minutes to type out the idea doesn't make it a simple 5 minute fix. If you have 12 pages of quests, maybe you should stop accepting quests you aren't planning on doing. Storyline quests cannot be Declined, only Side quests offer the option.

Well, I assumed that Kings isle had coded whether each quest was storyline or side quest, but even if they haven't, it's a relatively simple fix. Just assign each quest icon to a value, and add the corresponding value to each quest that fits the icon. It might not be a "five minute" fix, going through every quest in the game must be a nightmare, but it's still relatively easy, albeit time consuming. What it actually is tedious, but so are crafting quests, and I manage to suffer through those. The W101 central wiki has already documented every quest in the game, and stated whether it is storyline or side. KI should just add the icons. They make plenty of formatting changes, and if their other game meets certain standards, their more well known game should definitely meet the same standards.

Yea, I'm a maxed-out Musketeer and Cool Ranch-ish Swashbuckler and this is a very helpful feature. Also the fact that you can see how many pages are on your menu. Also the fact that when you get to the last page by clicking the right arrow, you have to go back using the left arrow. This is really helpful when you're just trying to look through your quests without repeating them.
