Please look into raising the level in ponds in Mooshu. Really tough fishing when your lure is behind the invoke button. Also please remove some of the obstacles around bridges (Rocks, walls, and hay stacks). In Kishibe Village if you could remove the bamboo barriers on the island it would help a bunch.
Definitely! And in Takatai Outpost, it is really difficult to fish if the fish is in the middle or under the bridge. I have also noticed (this may or may not be a bug) sometimes when the lure is fully under and staying under, it still gets away! -Molly,level 90 and Inmate Fisherman

That's not a bug. Using the right school lure, higher level lures and luck elixirs increase your chances of keeping the fish, but don't guarantee it. Higher rank fish are harder to land than lower ones even using the correct school lure.
